Frequently Asked Questions
What are your session fees?
See the Our Team page for the cost of sessions.

Can I meet my therapist before booking?
Of course! We offer free 15-minute consultations to give you the chance to get to know your therapist before committing to a full-length appointment. This is extremely important to us as studies have shown the #1 predictor to success with therapy is how the client (you!) views their relationship with their therapist. If we're not the right fit, that's totally okay!

Where can I park?
There is free street parking directly in front of the building except during rush hour times (prior to 9:00am and 4:00-5:00pm). There is also free 24/7 street parking close by on Lorne Crescent. There is a lot behind the building, however this is reserved for the businesses inside. If there is a parking spot available in there the time of your appointment, we will text you and let you know!

What ages do you work with?
We currently are offering services to individuals aged 18 and older.

Will my benefits cover your services?
Most extended health benefits should cover these services, however I encourage you to check with your plan to make sure before booking. If you anticipate having coverage and end up being declined, let me know and we can explore some potential problem solving. If you do not have benefits, the cost of appointments are considered a tax write-off.

Do you offer direct billing to insurance providers?
We are not able to offer direct-billing at this time.

What payment methods do you take?
We accept cash, credit, or e-transfer.

Why do I need to put in a credit card number to book an appointment?
We ask this only so we have something on file to bill should you need to cancel with short notice.

What if I need to cancel an appointment?
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists' day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee to the card on file of the full session fee.

What if I'm going to be late to an appointment?
Appointments are reserved especially for you. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your scheduled appointment, it will be considered a no-show. In such cases, you will be charged 100% of the session fee. This policy is in place to respect both your time and that of other clients. Please make every effort to arrive on time so we can make full use of the scheduled session.
