At Root and Bloom, therapy doesn't have to happen inside four walls. Walk-and-Talk therapy invites you into a more natural, relaxed setting combining the benefits of movement, fresh air, and connection with a supportive therapeutic conversation. 

Walk-and-Talk therapy is ideal for clients who:

  • Find peace and grounding in nature

  • Feel more comfortable talking while moving

  • Would like to bring a supportive pet to sessions 

  • Find traditional therapy settings intimidating or too formal

These sessions take place outdoors along the paved trail that goes from Wilkes Dam to Brant Crossing (exact meeting location will be determined after booking with your therapist). This option is not available for couples sessions. Sessions are held weather permitting, with a virtual or in-office backup when needed. Comfortable footwear is encouraged!
