Toddlers have big emotions and the behaviours that come with them can feel overwhelming, confusing, and at times, exhausting.

This group is designed to support both sides of the relationship: your toddler’s emotional world and your experience as their parent. It will be co-led by our team member Becca Staley, RP(Q), and Brittany So, OT, from Brant Kids Therapy.
This group takes a regulation-based approach to understanding behaviour. You’ll learn how to better interpret your toddler’s needs, respond to challenging moments with more confidence, and navigate your own reactions with greater awareness and self-compassion. It is designed for parents of toddlers age 18 months to 4 years.

Together, we’ll explore:
-
Why toddlers behave the way they do (and what’s developmentally normal)
-
How to support your child’s emotional regulation and sensory needs
-
Practical tools for meltdowns, transitions, and everyday challenges
-
How your own nervous system and triggers show up in parenting
-
Strategies to stay more grounded, reduce reactivity, and repair after difficult moments
This workshop is about understanding your child, supporting them, and feeling more confident in how you show up as a parent.
